Hi, Today I am blogging for A2Z Scraplets ♥

On this page I used the stencilet Cevrons 2 to make the entire background and then just framed it with a blue pattern paper from FabScraps.

I have stamped 2 feathers on the background and a third on paper that I cut out to create some dimension.I made the feather stamps with my Teresa Collins Stampmaker from Photocentrics.

 

The flourish_36 scraplet  I altered using blue ink and two layoers of jeans colored embossing powder.

 

I also stamped some ballons and added the title Hi [Hej in Swedish. The Ballon stamp is also made using the  Teresa Collins Stampmaker from Photocentrics.

Peek- A- Boo

This months challenge from The Studio Challenges is a Pinterest Challenge. Get inspired by this picture:

 I must start with telling you I really do not like purple. Nevertheless, I am always up for a challenge so I decided to get inspired by the mask, the gold, the feathers and the color purple.

 My page is made in different layers. I started with a purple PP from FabScraps Angelic Christmas on which I placed a slightly smaller waster color paper. I placed it a bit skew and stitched it on. I then added some stencils from Crafter's Workshop and a lot of different stamps I made using this month’s sponsor Teresa Collins Stampmaker from Photocentric.

Next I cut out two photos and some FabScraps PP slightly bigger than the photos. I creased the PP in my hand and then distressed the edges with Dusty Concord distress ink before I smoothed them out again and added beneath my photos.

The Chipboard is from FabScraps and I altered them first with gold ink and then with gold embossing powder before I distressed the edges with Black Sooth distress ink.

I fuzzy-cut a cage and birds from The FabScraps Angelic Christmas PP and added a purple feather. I also punched a purple stripe from the PP but I made it more like the colors of the photo using Picked Raspberry distress ink.

 And last I mounted everything.

Kort med setnciler

Idag bjuder jag på ett kort med stenciler.
Jag har använt en stencil från Crafter's workshop och gjort blommor på olika ställen på kortbasen med distress ink Peacock Feathers. Sen har jag ritat runt kanterna med en bra svart penna.
En bil washi-tape och en liten bit från Teresa Collins borders samt ord utskrivna på Printable vellum sen var det klart!

 

You Brighten up my Day ♥

I just want to remind you all about the October sketch challenge at A2Z Scraplets. You still have time to join in.
This is my take on the sketch:

Bike and swirl stamps are made using the Teresa Collins stampmaker from Photocentrics. 
I made the background using a water color paper, lots of distress ink and even more water.Behind I used a happy Balloon paper from YouDo.

Using word "You Brighten up my day" altered with turqouise embossing powder and black sooth distress ink:

Life is good ♥ Summer stories

When the weather gets colder I like to think back and remember those Summer Stories, when Life is good.

This is a page using Teresa Collins Summer Stories and Crafter's Workshop Stencils. The Titel is cut out using the Silhouette and the Flower is from Petaloo.

När vädret blir kallare  gillar jag att tänka tillbaka på sommaren när livet var enkelt och gott.

På den här layouten har jag använt Teresa Collins Summer Stories och Crafter's Workshop stenciler. Jag har skurit ut titeln med Silhouetten och blomman kommer från Petaloo.

I made the background using 4 different stencils from Crafter's Workshop and 3 different distress inks.

Bakgrunden är gjord med 4 olika stenciler från Crafter's Workshop och 3 olika färger på distresser.

Monochromatic Challenge over at the Studio Challenges

Teal or turquoise are my absolute favorite color. We even have a turquoise sofa in our house. I had to mnipulate the photo abit in photoshop to get the teal feeling into a more blue face paint but I think it came out OK.

I used a mask from Heidi swapp to make the butterflies and then I sewed on them to add some texture and detail.

On this page I used a chipboard from A2Z Scraplets which I stamped on and then sprayed with dylusions mist. One of the flowers are from Prima and the rest I made myself using flat flowers from You Do.

I used slightly different shades of teal to get some dynamics in the page and combined with white to get contrasts.

The title is stickers combined with a cut out using the Silhouette.

5 ♥ Page with altered flowers, masks and stamps

Today I am showing a page with altered flowers and a backround with masks and stamps.. oh well I almost  always use that on my backgrounds so that is no news LOL. I died a lace turqouise, tore a few pieces of PP and also added some real feathers.

Idag blir det en layout och som vanligt har jag använt schabloner på bakgrunden :) denna gången har jag också stämplat och gjort mina egna blommor. jag har rivit små bitar av You Dos mönstrade papper och färgat spetsen turkos. Lite fjädrar fick också vara med.
