At display on CHA

A few weeks ago was the amazing CHA show in the US and for the first time (but not last I hope) I had 2 projects on display. They were in the Best Creation booth.

I didn't even know what a Flap book was before I saw the fab video at Best Creation - mine is a little more simply decorated.

I thought it was fun to use the cool Rock Star papers with a cute Bunny theme *LOL* and the colors were a match so I thought I will give it a try. What do you think?

Spellbinders & Best Creation - Part 1

What a fab combination ♥

I decided to use all of the dies in the Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Squares set to make a mini that really show off how well coordinated colors and patterns there are in the BC Loop and Scoops line. The photos are from a Photo Safari we did together with another family on one of Malmös theme playgrounds

So it was't difficult to chose topic when we got the assignment at Best Creation to use the paper line Rock Star to create a page with a favorite song. There are so many cool stickers to play with in the Rock Star collection... and the papers rock!!!

I love the wavy dots pattern on the Splash fun paper so I wanted to emphasize that and so I extended that pattern out on the cardstock using different colors of pearl maker. I also used the lovely Spellbinders shapes to make a frame around the photo and some details.

I punched zillions of square pieces and then I randomly cut each piece in 2. Then the puzzling began to get a frame around the photo. I used one of the fabulous Best Creation glittery cardstocks as a base to make the mosaic more fancy *LOL*.

Loops & Scoops and Pagemaps

Denna veckan är det Loops&Scoops + Pagemaps-vecka hos Best Creation. Vi fick välja en pagemap och skapa en layout och dett aär vad jag skapade:

This week is Loops&Scoops + Pagemaps week at Best Creation. We all got to choose a pagemap and create a page and this is what I made:

Jag har använt de små papperspaketen (6x6 i storlek) på den här layouten. På dem är alla mönster i miniformat vilket passar bättre när man ska stansa ut mindre former tycker jag.

On this layout I really got use for the 6x6 paper pad. Sometimes when I punch out smaller shapes I prefer to use the 6x6 papers as they have every pattern in mini format. I really love that BC designed them in that way. Punching out stars in different papers also let me show of many of the beutiful papers still keeping the layout clean with lots of white space.
