ATC .:. Use your Wings .:. Distress ink .:. Simple Vintage Garden District

I made lots of more ATC (Artist Trading Cards) and here are 3 of them. I used some left over Dina Wakley Acrylic paint from my Holtz Tonic Studios Glass Media Mat as a base. Then I used Distress ink on the edges. I cut out some paper pieces, and used some die cuts and stickers from the Simple Vintage Garden District collection by Simple Stories. I also added some pieces of burlap from the Dina Wakley Media journal. To finish up I used a pen to outline the ATCs and the details, I really wanted more contrasts.

Jag har gjort en massa fler ATC-kort och detta är tre av dem. Jag fick lite Dina Wakley akrylfärg över på min Tim Holtz glasmatta som jag använde som bas. Sen tog jag Distress ink på kanterna. Jag har dekorerat med Simple Vintage Garden District collection från Simple Stories. Jag har också klippt ut lite Burlap från min Dina Wakley Media Journal som  dekoration. Till slut använde jag en svart penna för att öka kontrasten på detaljerna och runt ATC-korten.

ATC Rainbow .:. Dina Wakley Media .:. Simple Stories

I made more ATCs - I just cannot stop LOL. This time I tried some technique I have seen used by several artists. I added just 3 different drops of Dina Wakleys acrylic paint and then I used my Vicki Boutin Silicon Palette knife to smudge the colors over the ATC-cards.

I have decorated using stamps and stickers from Simple Vintage Garden District by Simple Stories and a fine tip applicator with black gesso. I also used Simon Hurley Create Stencil to make the stars.To finish off I used a black pen to frame both details and the ATC-cards themselves.

Jag har gjort fler ATC-kort - det är verkligen vanebildande LOL. Den här gången ville jag prova en teknik som jag sett flera olika artister använda. Jag la på 3 små droppar av Dina Wakleys akrylfärg och smetade ut det med min Vicki Boutin silikonpalettkniv.

Jag har dekorerat med stämplar och stickers från Simple Vintage Garden District från Simple Stories och en fine tip applicator med svart gesso. Jag har också använt Simon Hurley Create stencil för stjärnorna och en svart penna för att rama in detaljer och hela ATC-korten.

Distress ink bubbles .:. on ATC Artist Trading Cards

I loved my distress circles so much so I also used the same technique on my ATC Artist Trading Cards. I like it when the design extend over the borders of the ATC. I kept my decorations Clean and Simple CAS with decorations and stickers from the Simple Vintage District Garden collection by Simple Stories.

Distressrutor .:. Distress ink windows

Confession time: I had never made a distress ink window before I saw this challenge at #CiLiPysslaTillsammans but game on! I ended up making four different creations and I have already decided to make more. It is addictive! And a very easy way to create a stunning detail to your creation.

The first one I made by cutting a  stencil from some acetate. It worked well but it was a bit tricky to keep it on the same place when adding the mask. Now I have gotten some stamping mask paper and that makes it so much easier. I will also try Purple tape in the future.

Jag måste erkänna att jag aldrig hade provat att göra en Distressruta innan jag såg den här utmaningen på #CiLiPysslaTillsammans men självklart var jag tvungen att prova. Och så glad jag är att jag provade! Det är så effektfullt och enkelt att få en vacker detalj. Jag kommer definitivt att fortsätta att använda tekniken.

Första gången skar jag ut en ruta/stencil från en OH-plast/transparency men nu har jag skaffat bättre grejer som gör livet enklare med stamping mask paper. Man kan också använda Purple tape och det ska jag testa nästa gång.

Oh this is a special day! My DD turned 12 today! Happy Birthday dear A - love you to the moon and back!

I made this art journaling spread using the Bubble technique that Vicki Boutin showed in one of her video tutorials. I made it a few weeks back when me and my DT-collegue Karin at CiLi in PAPERS had a cyber-scrap-date. Then I added some heavy gesso to stencils from Vicki Boutin. I stamped also with a few random stamps and the stamps from the Simple Vintage Garden District collection. I decorated with the same - still my favorite collection from Simple Stories.

Idag är ingen vanlig dag, för idag är det Alvas födelsedag! Min älskade dotter fyller 12 år - älskar dig mer än du kan föreställa dig!

Jag har gjort en art journal-sida med en bakgrund gjord med bubbeltekniken som Vicki Boutin visade i en av sina videotutorials och som jag och DT-kollegan på CiLi in PAPERS testade i en cyber-scrap-date. Så kul vi hade! Sen la jag på gesso med stenciler från Vicki Boutin. Jag har stämplat med lite olika stämplar men också med stämpeln som ingår i Simple Vintage Garden District-kollektionen från Simple Stories - älskar den fortfarande!

I made a page using the fun Bubbles Technique as shown by Vicki Boutin - Love your art Vicki! I like using good quality acrylic paint to get good distinct visible bubbles so I used paint from Dina Wakley and Dylusions.

I decorated with the Simple Vintage Garden District Collection by Simple Stories - another one of my favorites.

The photo is from last summer at Almedalen which unfortunately will not be on this year. We had a great time with lots of interesting speeches and loads of networking and also getting together with some good friends.

Art Journaling med Simple Vintage Garden District från Simple Stories

All the LIVE sendings at the CiLi in PAPERS Facebook page (and others too) have inspired me to create with lots of colors and especially making art journaling. This page started out inspired by Lisas. Then I went my way creating art journaling with photo.

Alla LIVE-sändningar på CiLis Facebook-sida har gjort mig sååå inspirerad att skapa med kladd och klet och att skapa Art Journals. Denna sida började i stil med Lisa livesändning men gick sedan åt ett helt annat håll och blev liksom min egen stil till slut, att göra art journal med foto.

Längre ner finns även en länk till en film där ni kan se precis hur jag gjort. Jag har klippt bort att jag torkar mellan lagren. Glöm inte detta annars blir det inte så bra :)
