3 Tags med 3 olika färgtyper

 Lila är verkligen inte min färg men vad vore livet utan utmaningar?

I söndags utmanade jag mig själv och gjorde 3 olika tags, dessutom gjorde jag det under en Facebook Live så att jag inte hade chansen att backa - ha ha.

Jag använde tre olika typer av färger på mina tags; akrylfärg, Gloss spray och Distress Ink. Det blir helt olika finish med dessa olika typer av färger och du får själv avgöra vilken som är din favorit!

Jag la färgen på ett akvarellpapper och sen ska jag ut mina tags. Jag la också på Heavy Weight Gesso med stenciler från Dina Wakley Media respektive Tim Holtz, Ranger Ink.

Dekorationerna kommer från Woodland & Grove, Maggie Holmes, American Crafts.

Jag gjorde också egna ramar genom att klippa ut en rad i mönstrat papper och sedan satte jag olika washi tape på och sydde ovanpå det hela.

I found this super cute peacock at the chipboard sticker page from the Maggie Holmes Flourish collection and I wanted to create a card where it really stans in the centre of attention. I made the design simple to keep it that way.

Jag hittade den här superröta påfågeln på cardstockstickersidan i från Maggie Holmes Flourish-kollektionen. Jag ville skapa ett kort där den fick stå i rampljuset och därför valde jag en mycket enkel design.

On this card I tried to make it a bit fun by letting the small bugs crawl in and out underneath the motif.

På det här kortet skojade jag till det lite och lät de små krypen försvinna in och ut under motivet.

Layout I Love You Together .:. with Maggie Holmes Flourish .:. based on a sketch

I have made a page based on a sketch - love using sketches to get my mojo going! I used the Maggie Holmes Flourish from Crate Paper on this page. The background is made using an old mask from Prima marketing but similar makes are for example Kaisercraft Bubbly.

Jag har gjort en layout baserad på en skiss - ett perfekt sätt att komma igång snabbt med kreativiteten tycker jag. Jag har använt Maggie Holmes Flourish från Crate Paper och en mask från Prima till bakgrunden (finns liknade mask från Kaisercraft Bubbly).

Meeting the lovely Becky Higgins

I had the opportunity to meet the lovely Becky Higgins in Stockholm a few months ago. This is a selfie she took and forwarded to me and the other girls - Cicci and Ulrika - on the photo.
She was so sweet and inspiring and we had som interesting chats about politics, religion and just ordinary life at lunch between the classes arranged by DESIGN in PAPERS.


För några månader sedan hade jag förmånen att möta  supertrevliga Becky Higgins i Stockholm. Detta är en selfie so hon tog och skickade till mig och de andra - Cicci och Ulrika - på fotot.
Hon var så trevlig och inspirerande och - förutom de fantastiska kurserna - hade vi intressanta snack om allt möjligt på lunchen och i väntan på att de andra deltagarna skulle dyka upp på kurserna som arrangerades av DESIGN in PAPERS.

The layouten was inspired by Paige Evans  that makes the most wonderful pages using her Cameo.
(I was challenged by my team mate Christin at Pretty Crafty Stuff to make a page using the inspired by Paige Evans - I made one page but just can't stop LOL.) I used a combination of Seven Paper Amelia and Maggie Homes Confetti.

Layouten är inspirerad av Paige Evans  som gör de mest fantastiska layouter med sin Cameo. Jag har kombinerat Seven Paper Amelia och Maggie Holmes Confetti.

On the background I used a file from Pretty Crafty Stuff and my cameo. I used zillions of small pieces from Seven Paper Amelia to fill in the holes, it took a while.

Bakgrunden har jag skurit ut med min Cameo/Silhouette och en cut file från Pretty Crafty Stuff. Jag använde millioner små bitar från Seven Paper Amelia för att fylla i bakgrunden och ... det tog lite tid. 

I wanted to emphases the feeling of really meeting Becky so I used her font downloaded from Creating Keepsakes to write on the labels from the cut and print file from Pretty Crafty Stuff.

Jag ville markera att det var becky jag mötte och därför laddade jag ner hennes font från Creating Keepsakes och skrev på etiketterna från print and cut-filen från Pretty Crafty Stuff.

Page for Pretty Crafty Stuff inspired by Page Evans

I was challenged by my team mate Christin at Pretty Crafty Stuff to make a page using the Geometric Shapes from Pretty Crafty Stuff inspired by Paige Evans.  This is the result.
I used the circle from the Geometric Shapes and made it slightly smaller and placed it randomly over the page I also turned the paige up-side-down after cutting because of the flow in the photo.

I put different pattern paper from Maggie Holmes Confetti by Crate Paper behind each cut circle and decorated with the same colors as the patterned paper.
