Petit Couture ♥

I really love this old picture of my dear daughter and when I saw the sweet papers in the FabScrap Milkshake Chic collection I thought of it. There was a cute chipboard piece saying Pet Couture so I altered it to say Petit Couture instead.

For This Layout You Will Need
  • FabScraps Milkshake Chic  paper range: C58 001, 003, 005, and MC58 002, 007, 008, 010,  and MCDC58 005, 006
  • DC58 005 Pet Couture Chip board
  • Mask with distress ink.,  white CS, doily
  • Color sand/glitter or similar. Crystal Glaze. Double-sided tape.
  • Punches or good cutting skills.

Instructions
  1. Use a White Cardstock as background
  2. Fussy cut the hats from MC58  007, 008 and the two ladies from C58 001 PP and keep the black and white stripes and roses.
  3. Cut out pieces of PP slightly bigger than your photograph from C58 003 and two stripes of paper from C58 005. Now cut a stripe from MC58 010 and take out the gate MC58 002. Add some distress ink to all the edges. Then arrange them.   Glue together (except for the ladies and the hats) but do not glue it down to the page yet..
  4. Add some distress ink on the background using a mask/stencil.
  5. Fold a piece of a doily around the edge of the photo and stitch on.
  6. Glue down the photo/PP/gate cluster
  7. Add the hats on 3D foam.
  8. Add the fuzzy cut girls on 3D foam.
  9. Add some distress ink onto the chip board. Add some crystal glaze and pink color sand. Let dry.
  10. Cut out ‘it’ from white smooth cardstock  (I just free hand cut it but you could print it using the computer fonts – just then you need to reverse it so that you get a white surface). Add some double-sided tape – you could add the tape before you cut. Now add some pink color sand. And add to the chipboard ‘pet couture’ to make it say ‘petit couture’.
  11. Punch out some stars or similar from white CS covered with double-sided tape and add some pink color sand. Add them to the page to for a visual triangle.
  12. Punch out two flowers and some leaves from MCDC58 005, 006
  13. Crunch the paper flowers and fold the leaves in halves. Then add some distress ink. Add some water and let dry. When complete dry add some more distress ink around the edges.
  14. Add some crystal glaze and blue color sand to a round piece from MCDC58 006. Let dry. Then add to the center of the flower using a 3D foam. Add the flower and the leaves to the doily.
  15. Distress the edges of the entire page.
  16. Enjoy!
