When the papers already are just perfect

what do you do?
I have made my first post over at Urban Swank and in my DT-pack I found this this paper Linen dot from the Everyday Lily Collection and I just fell in love ♥
The paper already had one of the frames so I grabed a pen and just made the other so I could fit both my pictures. I added some butterflies in black also. I also got some fun PSA stamps in my DT-pack and I just added them randomly along the right edge. The title På Stranden means At the beach.

Mera YouDo / Canvas Corp

Innan jag började designa för YouDo kände jag inte till Canvas Corps fantastiska grafiska möntrade papper som YouDo är svensk återförsäljare för. I mitt DT paket så kom det med massor av dem i alla möjliga klara vackra färger och jag måste säga att det är enkelt att skapa med dem. I paketet fanns också ett vackert klockset med urtavlor och visare. Jag har valt att basera min layout på en skiss från Pagemaps.

Back to the 70-ties

Igår gjorde vi en liten tidsresa 40-år bakåt i tiden... vi var på 40-årsfest med tema 70-tal.

Yesterday we did a trip 40-years back in time... going to a 40-years party with the 70ties as a theme.


Det tog hela morgonen att sy om de där jeansen.

It took me all morning to make the flares onto those jeans.

Red, blue and white

make such great contrasts... I have used the Best Creation I ♥ America Line for this layout. The base is a 12x12 Cardboard paper from YouDo. I love using cardboard as a base for my page. This time I have painted with acrylic paint mixed with water to get a white wash look.
I attached a lot of my embellishments using machine stitching . It is so so easy on Cardboard.

Even though I prefer the indoors...

Me I am really an indoor person. Everything I love to do is indoors; scrap, craft, read, watch films, everything. So it was a bit of a challenge to create a "great outdoors" page *LOL*.

Recent years I have realised that outdoors is great for taking good pictures. The picture on this LO was taken when me and my family and another family whent on a photo safari on one of the theme play grounds around Malmö - there are several - this one is from the Africa Park.

I used the fabolous Gone Camping Line from Best Creation - such soft and beautiful colors and combined with a few details of Glitter cardstock.
To make the page more interesting I added some acrylic paint mixed with water.

Den kreativa processen

På Molly scrapbooking finns en GDT-tävling där man ska skapa en layout som visar ens känslor för scrapbooking. i all hast läste jag fel och trodde att dead-line var i dag *bråttom bråttom* sen visade det sig att det istället var den 15 maj - får se om jag nöjer mig med denna snabb-layout eller om jag gör ett försök till.

National scrapbooking day & Mom's day

Over there it is national scrapbooking day (NSD) and mom's day this week-end. In Sweden we have to wait another few weeks to celebrate all the fantastic mothers.

At Best Creations Blog you will find a lot of tributes to mothers from all over the world and this is my contribution:

Journaling:
Being a mom is a big responsibility, hard work and endless happiness. All the time, it is something you want to view, like help with or cuddle, a constant interaction. If I leave the room, it will not take five minutes before I hear someone call out "Mom". Being a mother means to shift the focus from myself to my children. Not being able to plan and to always be flexible. Working full time while having 3 children means a constant lack of sleep and very little time for yourself. But it also means a love so great that I did not think it was possible.

Att vara mamma innebär ett stort ansvar, hårt arbete och oändlig lycka. Hela tiden är det något ni vill visa, ha hjälp med eller gosa, en ständig interaktion. Om jag lämnar rummet så dröjer det inte 5 minuter innan jag hör någon ropa “Mamma”. Att vara mamma innebär att flytta fokus från sig själv till sina barn. Att inte kunna planera och att ständigt vara flexibel. Att arbeta heltid och samtidigt ha 3 barn innebär en ständig sömnbrist och minimalt med egentid. Men det innebär också en kärlek så stor att jag inte trodde det var möjligt.
