I had a creation at CHA

As I was away in Thailand most of December I never got to send in my FabScrap creations to CHA this time... next time I will make sure I stay home ;)
Anyway, my other team Photocentrics had a stand at CHA and one of my tags was shown.

Look at this fabolous tree decorating the Photocentric stand.

Idag tänker jag visa en layout som jag gjorde för ett tag sedan. Jag hade förmånen att få layouten publicerat i Inzpira så därför har jag inte kunnat bloggat den tidigare.

I You Do's sortiment av mönstrade papper finns 3 lövpapper som är såååå vackra. De kan verkligen lyfta vilken layout eller kort som helst. På denna layouten har jag valt att sätta fokus på just lövpappret tillsammans med fotot och blommor, pärlor och rhinestones i matchande färger. Jag har använt en kantstans på kanterna och bakgrunden är gjord med masker och den vackra textstämpeln som finns bland You Do's bakgrundsstämplar - jag tröttnar aldrig på att använda den - perfekt att ha i sitt basmaterial.

Den andra stämplarna har jag gjort själv med Teresa Collins stampmaker från Photocentrics.

Ocean waves

I do not often use more than one photo on my pages but I do like the result. This page was made for a scetch challenge over at The Studio Challenges.

The page is from our 3 week long trip to Thailand this Christmas. Loved every day of boat trips, snorkling, swimming, massage and just relaxing reading lots of books. It feels very different from today when we have snow outside in a cold Malmö.

This is how I made this page:

• Use the a white CS as a base.
• Add some distress ink on masks. Make sure they will show underneath the decorations. 

 

Cut a 5  ½ x 10 ½ “ piece of C64 004

Cut two stripes size 1 ½ x10 ½ “ of the back side of C64 004. Trim the edges with a border punch.

Cut two pieces sized 1x8” from C64 06.

Ink all edges and mount together slightly skew.Add some cheese cloth.

Add the three photos.

Add a folded and trimmed stripe of C64 004 and stamp THAILAND on it (or whatever suits your page). 

Emboss the Chipboard Ocean Waves with blue embossing powder. Tie a thread to it and add.

Fuzzy-cut and add the sea flower from C64 002, the beach houses, the birds and the anchor from the Journal Box MC64 001A . use 3D foam for some of the pieces to create dimension.

Add some flowers.

Taking the yearly family portrait

Taking the yearly portrait was a fun and somewhat crazy experience. it is hard to get 3 kids to cooperate at the same time... anyway this one turned out OK.
I customized a text stamp for this and all coming family portraits.
I also made a post stamp which I used on the photo itself.

Colorful ♥ Färgstark

It was a long time since I made this page - couln't show it due to publication rules -  but I still like it. I used feather stamps that I stamped both directly on the background and on some transparent paper to create a dimensional effect.
