SKWAD Recipe Layout Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to Scrapbook Kits With A Difference's first ever Recipe Layout Blog Hop. We'd like to share this special event with you, and to celebrate, we are offering three kits from Scrapbook Kits With A Difference, for 3 lucky people.

It's just a simple page but you do not need much with the Best Creation papers. I used my all time favorite Best Creation line ... yes that is right, the Jubilee collection. I also added some mini alphas from the Lets Party collection and a sticker from Bunny Love collection.

Here is how to make it.

1) Cut a round shape out of a 12x12 paper. I used a big circle as a template.

2) Use a border punch to create lots of stripes of borders. I used a Martha Stewart punch.

3) Ink all the edges and crumble the stripes of borders.

4) Use some type of paper tape (that you can machine stitch through) for exampel washi tape and mount the stripes around the round shape. Overlap between the stripes and put the tape on the back side.

5) Put a cord on the edge and machine stitch over the cord.

6) Tie a rosette . Now you are ready with the base. Just add photos and decos.

Here comes my flower:

Punch out och fuzzy cut lots of hearts. Ink the edges.

Roll the edges around a pen or grill stick.

Stick them onto a round base with a strong glue.

Let dry and then put a sticker in the middle. And mount them on a 3D foam.

This is a very simple way of getting a flower in the color you want that match the rest of your layout. It is a ♥ Love flower ♥ made out of ♥ punched heart shapes ♥. I have made two out of different sizes of punched hearts. Now pick it up and hop on to Liz Chidester's blog.

These are the projects I would like to share with you:
First out is a pleated paper heart with a goofy Christmas photo made with two Best Creation Christmas papers and some of the stunning BC Basic Glitter Cardstock. The size is 12x12" and I plan to keep it on the wall trough Christmas. It says 'God Jul' Swedish for Merry Christmas.

With lots and lots of crumbled circles of the same papers I made a Christmas tree to put on the table with Christmas food.

My last project is a Christmas ornament for the tree.
