The eyes are the window to the soul

My daughter has such beautiful 2-colored eyes, one is blue and one is green/brown.
I thought this chipboard from A2Z Scraplets was perfect for te title, and it went great together with papers and stickers from FabScraps Elegant Chic collection.

For This Project You Will Need:

•   FabScraps Elegant Chic C71 001 x 1

•   FabScraps Elegant Chic C71 004 x 1

•   FabScraps Elegant Chic C71 006 x 1

•   FabScraps Elegant Chic C71 007 x 1

•   FabScraps Elegant Chic ST71 001 Stickers

•   FabScraps Metall embellishment dragon fly

•   Distress ink

•   Flowers & leaves

•   Doily

•   Edge distresser

Instructions:

1.     Use the FabScraps Elegant Chic C71 006 as the base. Rough up the edges using n edge distresser and ink the edge using distress ink.

2.     Cut pieces from Elegant Chic C74 007 and 4 to use under the photo. Rough the edges and ink. Place underneath the photo and stick together using machine stitching.  

3.    Add the stack onto a doily and to the base. Do not glue down the edges.

4.     Cut a sticker from Elegant Chic ST71 001 in halves and add under the edges oof the photo-stack, one half on each side.

5.     Tear a stripe from Elegant Chick C71 001 and rough the edges and ink. Glue onto the upper edge of the base.

6.     Add the chipboard title. I think the raw finish loos great onto these colors.

7.     Add the flowers, leaves and the metal dragonfly.

8.    Add the butterfly stickers.

9. Your layout is now ready to frame and hang!

Kort a la Lena

När Lena gjorde sin tutorial för någon vecka sedan blev jag så sugen att prova hennes stämpelteknik. Sagt och gjort - det blev två kort!
 

Jag har stämplat över två papper precis som Lena gjorde. Sedan stämplade jag några fjärilar och trollsländoor som jag guldembossade också, för lite guld är ju aldrig fel.

A picture with the children's school photos using FabScraps Floral Delight

For This Project You Will Need:

•   FabScraps Floral Delight C74 005 x 1

•   FabScraps Floral Delight C74 006 x 1

•   FabScraps Floral Delight C74 007 x 1

•   FabScraps Floral Delight C74 008 x 1

•   Frame and a good pair of scissors

Instructions:

1.     Use the FabScraps Floral Delight C74 008 as the base. Cut it out in the same size as the frame.

2.     Fuzzy cut out a few details from C74 005, 6 and 7. Add round the photos  

3.   Your picture is now ready to frame – put a bird outside the frame to make it vivid!

I love the titles from A2Z Scraplets. Makes it so easy to make a page and did you know that you can order customized titles?

I embossed the title using glittery black embossing powder. also the photo mat is a frame from A2Z Scraplets that I embossed with copper embossing powder.

Ljuvliga stämplar från Crafters Companion

Jag lyckades lägga händerna på ett underbart vackert ark med stämplar från Crafters Companion - Sheena Flying Colours. Jag ville verkligen att stämplarna skulle stå i centrum och skapade en less is more layout.

Jag lät citatet som fanns med i stämpelsetet fungera som titel och journaling.

De små och medelstora fjärilarna har jag stämplat på ett mönstrat papper från Pink Paislee Bella Rouge, klippt ut och format för att göra dem mer levande.

Den stora fjärilen stämplade jag direkt på bakgrunden och embossade med glittrigt svart embossingpulver.

A2Z Scraplets .:. Beautiful Girl

I got so inspired by this months challenge at A2Z Scraplets. And this is my take on the challenge.

First I embossed the chipboard. I like to use fluid embossing ink on chipboards because it makes the process so much easier than using an ordinary embossing ink.

I like to use silver or gold embossing powder. the irregularities makes it more vivvid I think. I let  them show even more using some distress ink
